Welcome to our new website - it's still a work in progress!  

Dr. Giles and the team moved the lab to the University of Michigan School of Kinesiology in the Fall of 2022 and we're excited to continue our research in this great environment (videos of our space are here). 

Our research is focused on understanding the mechanisms by which obesity promotes postmenopausal breast cancers. We use preclinical models and collaborate with clinical researchers to study how the obesity and menopausal weight gain contribute to tumor development, survival, and growth.
